Drug Uses
Synalar is used to relieve redness, itching and swelling associated with many skin conditions.
How Taken
You should take a small amount of medicine and apply it to the affected area. Make sure it is gently rubbed in and evenly distributed. You should wash your hands after applying this medicine, unless your hands are also part of treated area. The treated area should not be wrapped or bandaged unless directed otherwise by your doctor.
Warnings/Precautions
If your condition do not improve or becomes worse within a few days, check with your doctor. Eye contact should be avoided. Make sure you do not use Synalar longer than the prescribed time. In case of breast-feeding, consult your doctor first before taking this medicine.
Missed Dose
If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you notice. If is it is too close to the timing of the next dose, skip the forgotten one and go back to your usual dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at a time.
Possible Side Effects
Possible side effects are: skin thinning and discoloration, burning, itching, redness, or swelling. If you have any of the listed symptoms, consult your physician.
Storage
Keep Synalar at room temperature and prevent from heat and light. Make sure it is stored away from children.
Overdose
Swallowing Synalar may lead to lost of harmful consequences. If you doubt an overdose, find instant medical help.
