Acyclovir relieves herpes infections of the the skin, lip, and genitals; herpes zoster (shingles); and chickenpox. It does not remove them fully but eases the pain and itching and helps the recovering process. Acyclovir does not guarantee the reappearance of complaints but it relieves the symptoms if it is used right in the beginning of the illness. How Taken
